The sea is full of many mysteries and creatures. Humans have been on the earth for millions of year, but they knew they were never alone. When the word "Mermaid" comes to your mind, what do you think of? Are they real? Are they fake? Humans have been the may enemy of the mer-people before time itself. They would go out  and fish for them to bring them back either for food or money.
Fearing the humans and their nets, mermaid have begged the shark-people for protect, they came to an agreement. Over only the last 21 years sharks were bred to watch over mermaid. At the age five SeaStar got her first guardian, Draven who was only three years older than her. They grew up together but draven was always at her side to make she was kept safe.
 At the age fifteen Sea's mother was caught in one of the nets and never seen again. Her father spent days and nights watching over the mer-village and looking out for nets. As the years go on life for the per-people became harder and harder but they were kept safe and soon life when on as normal. The older Sea got the more curious she got, exploring every cave, and every coral. But she would also go to dry land and watch from afar. the only person who knew her secret was Draven. Not liking it he would stay close watching her  no matter where she was, but not only because they grew up together and became good friends, because deep down he had feelings no guardian should ever have towards their mermaid.
